Arcadis’ story began back in 1888 in the Netherlands, where we developed unusable land into places for people to live and establish communities. Nowadays, we are more than 36,000 people, in over 70 countries, who focus on creating better housing, revolutionising transport systems and finding new solutions to complex environmental challenges. Spending time working at Arcadis prior to graduating is a brilliant way to kickstart your career and get first-hand experience of life at Arcadis. Not only will you get to work alongside skilled professionals, but you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to real projects and get hands-on experience whilst earning a salary.

We have opportunities for students across a range of disciplines, including Engineering, Specialists & Scientists, Consulting and Project Management. On joining Arcadis as either a 9 to 12-month work placement or 8- to -12-week summer intern, you will have hands-on experience with real-life projects from day one and make a real difference to the work we do.

Those looking to join us as an undergraduate have two options: Internships (8 to 12-week summer placements) or Work Placements (9 to 12-month work placements) across multiple disciplines, such as:

• Engineering
• Project Management
• Cost Consulting
• Environmental Specialists 

We have one intake of undergraduate work placements and summer internships every year and open for applications in September. Our Summer intern programme typically starts in July with our work placement programme typically starting in August.
