Overview
Workshops on tax, advisory and audit, commercial awareness and personal branding talks, group projects on SWOT analysis, mentoring sessions and insight on becoming a brand ambassador for one's university.
Skills
I have developed better communication and networking skills, confidence, practical knowledge of accountacy in the tax, advisory and audit sectors. Adaptibilty to cope with intense working environments and utilising a growth mindset to thrive as an aspiring accountant.
Business Insight
It was extremely benficial to my progress towards my aspirational career. I gained valuable networks to enable me to perform better in interviews and overall my accounting knowledge has increased on a more practical scale.
Culture
Very friendly and inclusive. BDO is extremely open about diversity and accepting different cultures, as our differences make us stronger.
