Overview
On a day to day basis we had sessions with BDO employees about different business streams and also had time allocated towards the group project.
Skills
Yes, I learnt a lot more about actuarial sciences, working in tax, and the audit industry.
Business Insight
It was very interesting, and was something that I had not come across before, so helped my understanding of the industry greatly.
Culture
It was very friendly, and the whole early careers team as well as the speakers during mentoring segments were really helpful and inspiring.
Your Impressions
It was great, obviously it was limited by the fact that it is virtual, but was still a great insight into the professional services.
Yes
Make sure to have a good numerical ability for those sections of the assessments, and also make sure to have some idea of possible answers for interview questions that are likely to come up.
