Overview
A very structured day involving learning about Audit, Tax and Advisory. We met a range of partners and senior members of the firm who gave us their honest experience and expertise in their respective fields. We worked on a group project over the three days and on our own soft skills such as personal branding and commercial awareness.
Skills
Developed skills in commercial awareness, personal branding, teamwork, professional streams.
Business Insight
I now have a solid understanding into the different sectors at BDO and the different roles within these sectors. If a certain role wasn’t there to talk about the BDO early careers team organised a call with the team members to give us the best insight possible.
Culture
Very warm and welcoming with everyone wanting to help you succeed even after you complete the program. They seem to care about your professional development alot and will do alot to help you achieve your goals.

To a significant extent it was very well organised and being able to meet a range of people in different levels and positions and sectors was really insightful

Be yourself. Research the company values and see if they align with your own. Company culture is a big consideration at BDO and BDO pride themselves on having good company culture.
