    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • To provide administrative support to the account, including document management and processing. I would liaise with the client on a daily basis to ensure that documents follow the agreed client review standards and processes. This would involve following-up with authors and reviewers to ensure documents can be signed off within a timely manner. I also provided support to the resource manager on the account, helping with on-boarding, off-boarding, and resource data management for example.

  • Yes - I have had the opportunity to enhance my time management and organisational skills greatly, while also developing my professional communication and leadership skills. Further to this, I have developed my management and design thinking skills. Overall, my problem solving skills developed too.

  • I was given much responsibility during my placement, with guidance along the way which helped me develop my independence. I was able to own a process within my role, for which I had main responsibility for, although access to support from my manager when I needed it.

  • I routinely had access to support during my placement from my task manager, foundation manager, and various colleagues who were always willing to help without question.

  • The company culture highlighted the importance placed on inclusivity, diversity, equity, and the ability to be curious. The general atmosphere at my work location followed just this, while also being highly supportive and welcoming.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed my placement due to the wide-range of opportunities available for me to take on. The working environment was cheerful and welcoming, and I enjoyed developing in my role.
