    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I check customers in and out of vehicles using a tablet. I make calls to book people in, get their details or ask them to fill out the customer service survey for us. I also drive around a lot either delivering or collecting cars or picking customers up.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes we had to take ownership of our customers so if somebody was unsatisfied and we served them we would have to resolve the issue and ensure the customer was left completely satisfied. I was also given the responsibility sometimes of running the day, meaning assigning who does what and what customer gets what car. This was the biggest responsibility I have faced.

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • Because I worked in a small team I was able to reach out to my manager often and whenever I wanted if I wanted any help. We would also have regular training sessions where we would go through things together which was helpful

  • The culture was very progression heavy. Lots of promotions all around and everyone wants you to progress and be promoted asap

  • It really depends on who you work with, as you spend so much time with your small team. My first few months were not great but last few were amazing.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Enterprise Mobility
  • Be aware it is long hours sometimes, but it depends on who your team is and who you are managed by. There is a lot of customer interactions every single day and you need to be comfortable talking to strangers as well as driving all types of vehicles and vans
