  • Shadowing team members, completing availability schedules, Putting together comp tables, calling agents, attending and hosting launches, networking events and going on viewing tours.

  • Improved excel, outlook, PowerPoint skills. I have also improved my networking skills. I have a greater knowledge of the real estate industry and gained an further insight into the world of commercial real estate.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes I was given a lot of responsibility during my role. I was given tasks to complete and then left to my own devices said complete these tasks. I also went looking for work, as this is a way to get more involved in the team and therefore gain further responsibility.

  • I received a lot, everyone was very welcome and loved to help. The whole team was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a great insight

  • I thoroughly enjoyed my placement. It was a great experience and i hope one day to come back and work for Cushman and Wakefield in a full time role.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Cushman & Wakefield
  • Have things on your CV that differentiate you from the competition. Work experience is great but working in a bar for 8 months or climbing Mount Everest is much more of an achievement. Companies aren't looking for cookies cutter. Be different and be yourself.
