Overview
This was a two day taster programme aimed to introduce us to the Teach first teacher training programme. It involved development sessions on various skills, along with group work sessions and an independent task of planning a lesson and press stint this to a small group.
Skills
Yes I learnt and developed lots of skills that were pre-existing but not necessarily made the most of.
Business Insight
It was a lot of information at first, but it was really good to learn about Teach firsts values and their aims for the future of education. It was also very informative about where you can end up after the teach first trainee programme.
Culture
The company culture was very comfortable and inclusive. I felt confident to speak and involve myself in the activities

Make the most of meeting lots of people who are in a similar position to you and also exploring teaching- it’s great to make these connections and also just put your mind at ease that others are in the same boat!
