    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • Research and analysis role. Day to day involved planning experiments, carrying them out and analysing the samples in numerous ways (i.e. electrochemical testing). Responsibilities also included managing my sampled and stock taking. Day to day also involved desk top work such as analysis using models and programmes.

    • I feel I've built upon all of my skills from organisation to business acumen. There aren't really any skills I don't think I've worked on during my placement in some way.

    • Maybe not as much as I would have liked, there were times I felt everyone was too busy to speak to or my issues weren't relevant enough etc.
