Overview
It was two days online where we heard from multiple people from Teach First including teachers who had completed the programme. There was also a chance to give a six minute “mini lesson” to get an idea about what teaching and preparing a lesson is like.
Skills
I’ve improved my self-evaluation skills and organisation skills a lot as we frequent gave self-evaluations and were having professionals evaluating us also. The mini lesson also gave me a chance to improve my organising and time management skills
Business Insight
It was very interesting as we learned we could also apply to work within the Teach First Charity. However the experience has solidified my choice to go into teaching.
Culture
Everyone was very friendly and easy to speak to
Your Impressions
I very much enjoyed it and it was completely worth it for me. It made me more confident in my choice of teaching.
