You specialise in daily rental, corporate growth, sales and marketing, and finance.

Responsibilities
As an independent you get given captaincies which cover a segment of your branch. You get as much of the responsibility as you ask for including the management of branch fleet.
Support & Guidance
At a branch level the support was un matches as I was very close with assistant managers and branch managers. They were always there to support me and listen to my issues. Did not get allocated a mentor so I took it upon myself to make my branch manager my mentor. I had regular 1 to 1s with him.
Culture
The company culture is surrounded by customer service. Anything we can do for customers we should do. The atmosphere is profit driven and positive with the right individuals.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement, I think I have received a large number of transferable skills that I can take into different aspects of my life. I do think they could work on the work life balance of the job as we do work long hours for the pay given.
Yes
You get what you put in. Be a grafter. Say yes to everything. And really do ask all the questions you think of. Expect long hours but alot of personal support.
