    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Yes, I have learnt a wide range or transferable skills which will last with me for the rest of my career. From time management to learning how to grow the business , this whole experience has exposed me to many sides of working life. I have been thrown in to the deep since day one, meaning I was never just a spare tool but a key member of the team.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes! Since the first day I have been handed with responsibilities, learning on my feet and being forced to use my initiative. As the placement went on I picked up more and more responsibilities meaning now I am a key member to the team. Some responsibilities include handling assigned accounts, running morning meetings, writing up rental contracts and many more.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • The support I was given was exceptional from the first day. Everyone is so friendly and happy to help. This is due to Enterprise's 'promote from within' culture, meaning that everyone of my colleagues had been in my shoes. I was assigned a mentor from another branch within my first month and we regularly met up to discuss how I was getting on.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company culture was positive yet competitive. The job is very much performance based and we have targets we need to meet, because of this there is a very competitive nature in the company, which I absolutely loved. This aside, I look at a lot of my peers as more of friends/family and people I can turn to for advice.
