    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I am responsible for the delivery of turnover, profitability and business building terms for my category in Costco. This includes developing and executing customer business plans on several market leading brands as well as compelling challenger brands. I am accountable for the day-to-day contact with the customer buyers, supply chain, shopper marketing, internal category & brand contacts. I also carry out elements of portfolio management, analysis, and administration internally.

  • My stakeholder management skills have been something I've been able to improve on massively. I have also grown in confidence due to carrying out tricky negotiations etc.

  • You receive a lot of responsibility at first however this is normal, and to make the most of your time by attending as many events/ joining as many campaigns as possible
