Overview
The role differs day to day depending on what the clients needs are. My role is very client facing so I speak to them on a regular basis, gaining requirements and actioning project work. I am also the PMO for the account and work internally with executives to ensure the account is running at its most effective and efficient.
Skills
I've built on my existing skills such as my presentation and excel skills. I have also learnt many skills from strategic thinking to technical skills. All of these I put into practice during my year in the industry as I faced many obstacles and opportunities.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement, taking over a full time role during the process and being involved in many bids, I truly felt like a valued member of the team.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support across the board, from foundation to my manager to multiple executives. The firm is very progressive and everyone is willing to support you reach your goals.

Your Impressions
I have enjoyed my business consultancy placement at IBM. The work was challenging and I was given the opportunity to work with a diverse team of experts who were passionate about their work. IBM's supportive culture allowed me to grow both personally and professionally, and I was constantly encouraged to learn and innovate. Overall, my experience at IBM was rewarding, and I feel fortunate to have been a part of such a great organisation.
