Overview
My role involves providing support to my team to forecast sales, handle the stock we have instore and, in our depots, whilst also analysing past sales to make better decisions for the future seasons. Merchandising is essentially about driving the profits of the business, and to do so you must have the right product, at the right price, at the right time, at the right quantity, at the right place
Skills
A major skill I have learnt frommy role is utilising excel and learning to analyse the reports produced from excel. Sorting and filtering data has become cardinal in order to analyse the styles that we would propose to be listed for example.
