    • I was given responsibility, however was always supported. Any big pieces of work/ decisions were supervised so I could not make huge mistakes

    • A large amount both from my direct team and the placement team. The placement team were excellent in supporting and giving help if you needed it.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • Excellent. This was definitely my favourite aspect of the year. I worked in such a positive environment with great friends that I will keep in touch with after the placement.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

    • Although it has been extremely challenging at times, I have enjoyed and am proud of myself for how I have managed the placement year. It is an intense atmosphere between the interns, however, it is also nice to be part of a community especially as we all live together. The highlight of my year has bee the connections I have made in the department and the positivity and fun they bring to the office.

    • Be extremely authentic in your interview. They want to see who you are and how you think not just the perfect candidate. Do not expect the year to be easy. All the things I have struggled with the most this ear has led to great learning and maturing.
