Overview
The insight week was to give us an opportunity to get a taste of the banking industry. We listened to presentations from the HR team as well as employees from different divisions. We then had a Q&A panel at the end. We also rotated aroud the different divisions of the bank
Skills
I developed my teamwork skills as I had to work in a team to create a short film. I also developed my innovation skills in this project by creating new ideas for the efficiency of the project.
Business Insight
It was insightful to listen to presentations and learn about the business. However, it would have been nice to have more projects to do as an intern in order to get a proper feel of what the roles are like.
Culture
It was very positive. All the staff were friendly and easier to talk to than I initially expected.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed getting a feel of the cooperate culture as it was my first insight program in a cooperate firm. However I would have liked there to be more projects that we could do and more rotations in the divisions rather than listening to a lot of presentations.
