Overview
Over the two days we got to experience teaching by getting to plan and carry out a short lesson. We also got to hear from key note speakers from teach first, speaking about their roles in the current educational landscape as well as what they're doing to help end educational inequality.
Skills
We learnt how to plan lesson, communicate to students using certain tones and specific language, how to keep students engaged by using work the clock and learnt how to break down concepts to make it more understandable for students.
Business Insight
It was fascinating getting to learn about how the job role were training for isn't the only role we can go into if we get to train with teach first.
Culture
The general atmosphere of the company was quite inviting every knew each other and was kind and courteous of one another.
