Overview
During the Vacation Scheme, we spent the days working with our Trainee Buddy and Supervising Associate in a specific department, engaging in a variety of extremely interesting talks from different members of the firm, and taking part in social activities.
Skills
Yes, I had the opportunity to take part in a client call, learned more about the different practice groups and developed my knowledge of Simmons&Simmons as a law firm.
Business Insight
It was fantastic hearing more about the business, its impact, purpose and how it is looking to stay competitive. In terms of the role of the trainee, we learned all about the bespoke Compass Training Programme and had many opportunities to chat to trainees at the firm.
Culture
The culture of the firm is friendly, approachable and dynamic. Everyone we met seemed genuinely fulfilled by their jobs.
Your Impressions
