    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • Everyday we would we would have a catch up morning call with the HR team and throughout the day we would have calls within Accenture, whether that was inspiration talks or group activities. Three times per week we would also meet with the team from Code First Girls and work on our project/ have classes.

    • Yes, I learnt the three programming languages necessary for front-web development CSS, HTML and JavaScript. I also developed existing skills such as code debugging, teamwork and leadership.

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • The company culture is strongly based on networking and reaching out to people in the company on your own so that you might get a good role in an ongoing project. The general atmosphere is good as everyone can gain things from one another.

    • Do not be afraid to talk to people no matter how high up their position is. Keep emails, keep linkedin profiles, because in the event of you going back there after your placement, it will be very helpful to have some contacts already
