    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I am a sales intern supporting the DMe strategic accounts team. My role within the team is to reach out to our existing customers and try start conversations about their current creative workflows, in an attempt to get them interested in Adobe's products. I specialise particularly in Adobe Substance 3D, and so will reach out to creative leads within organisations. Once I have a conversation started, I will follow the lead through the sales cycle.

  • Yes, If i was able to make contact with our customers, It would then be my responsibility to take them through the sales cycle. Create and run the meetings with customers and be their first point of contact.

  • I was given a mentor as apart of the Adobe mentorship program. I also had a lot of support from my manager who made it aware that I could reach out to her at any time and she would make time for me.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Everyone at Adobe is extremely friendly and always willing to help. There is always a lively atmosphere with events on very often. The culture is quite relaxed in the sense that i felt at ease when joining and not 'under pressure'.

  • I think a huge part of what they are looking at/for when employing interns is their confidence and their friendliness. They want people who are comfortable speaking and carrying out a conversation with their interviewer, who don't seem incredibly nervous.
