    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Supporting the sales team in requests ranging from pulling reports to organisational tasks like account coverage. Also, the team tracks the sales team and analyses progress within the quarter. By putting these reports together we then can use them in meetings with managers and have eyes on where there needs to be focus.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Excel is a really big part of the role and I have heavily developed my Excel skills from the start until now. Excel can be quite limited at times so sometimes requires some creative skills to get the result/table you need. Here I also learnt a bit about presenting to your team and how to sum up progress in tasks.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • There was a good mix between tasks left up to myself and others where I would share responsibility. Tasks left up to me still had support when needed but I would still be trusted to make sure it gets done.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I received a lot of guidance throughout my internship. At the start, i was taught a lot of the basics of using the various platforms but also Excel. Past the beginning, I was also able to ask for help whenever I needed so the support did not stop.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company culture was very nice. I found that if I had to reach out and ask for help to people outside of my team, they where extremely friendly and gave very thorough support. Our team would have a lot of work that may need to be done but definitely healthy work/life balance.
