    Overview

  • Assisting other graduates in the team and assistant managers/managers. Day to day: Drafting letters of engagement Speak to / writing letters to HMRC on behalf of clients Uploading client accounts Background checks on clients to ensure they have legitimate businesses Filling out financial data online to calculate the tax payable Categorising expenditure

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I had a buddy who was available to answer quick questions and was also able to ask graduates/trainees anything I wasn't sure about. I had a weekly catch up with my people manager which allowed me to discuss career aspirations and the objectives that I set myself.

  • Very friendly and helpful, people would always make time to help explain things to you People are hard working and value a good work ethic and positive attitude

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • The work was interesting and challenging which was enjoyable. No two days were the same and the team made sure to get you involved in a range of tasks. The culture was very friendly and supportive. The partners were all very approachable and this was something I feared might not have been the case before I joined I would definitley be keen to join as a trainee
