    • Assisting with projects within the manufacturing engineering sector of Rolls Royce, engaging with the external supply chain, across the globe.

    • I have developed my communication skills, especially with people from differing countries and potential language barriers. My confidence in the work place has also grown I believe. On a more technical level my engineering knowledge is improving daily, with my Excel skills being developed also.

    • I am only 6 weeks in, but I feel trust has been placed in me which in turn comes with it's own responsibility.

    • Support is everywhere within Rolls Royce and the work culture is very welcoming and friendly.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • Excellent, it was very welcoming and friendly. Some interns have created networks I believe and I can meet with my friends daily to socialise over a coffee or lunch.

    • As it is going I am loving my internship and I am extremely excited to see what the next 10 months holds. It has surpassed my expectations of the internship.

    • To be yourself in the interview, don't stress and as long as you have prepared accordingly (like you do for exams) you will be fine.
