    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Working with both the actuarial and investment consulting teams. Day-to-day work would be working on reports (e.g. Investment Monitoring) as well as doing valuations for actuarial (transfer values for pensions). There's also a fair bit of admin work. You get to do the work a new graduate would do under the guidance of a current graduate.

  • Generally welcoming and pretty relaxed which is nice. There have been plenty of socials to go to/ general activities (e.g. an office netball tournament).

  • The placement has been good. The work you get up to is meaningful and an insight into life as a recent graduate in the company. The team has been lovely and really welcoming.
