    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes. At one time, my colleague and I were the only ones running the UK Graduate Assessment Centers. This was a lot of responsibility for us to handle, but we managed. Now, we have been able to train up 4 new members of the team as there has been a demand for growth post COVID. Additionally, we had the responsibility, alongside the EMEA Assessment Centre coordinator, to run the Poland Assessment Centres.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company culture is great for socialising, networking, and making new friends. Every quarter they celebrate target hits by going out for paid drinks. The general atmosphere differs depending on the office that you work in or visit. The main HQ in London means there are more events and more liveliness, whereas the other offices don't tend to maintain this.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I really enjoyed my placement. I was lucky enough to visit the Frankfurt office and be the business owner of the project for automating the assessment centres. To be able to be recognised and considered to hold this ownership (for the initial part) was really important to show that placement students can have this opportunity.
