Overview
Start was around nine. I would usually be given work that morning or complete what was given to me the day before. This work was usually the standard of a trainee and not 'busy work'. For one hour a day we would have a talk from a practice group head.
Skills
How to draft a client letter, had to review a lease, how to research a company's finances.
Business Insight
It is quite overwhelming at first but is very understandable and becomes normal very quickly.
Culture
Kind, giving with their time, relaxed but profesional.
Your Impressions
really enjoyed having a greater insight into the realities of practice. However, it has felt like an extremely long and stressful job interview.
Yes
Know the company and be positive this is a place you want to work because it is a long difficult process and less than a 100 people out of over 4000 will get a training contract.
