Overview
- During the Business of Law Week, we worked as a team on a business-decision making and relationship-building Simulation built by NovoSim. - We also prepared and presented our ideas as a group about how CMS can innovate in an environmental way. - We also had the opportunity to interview CMS clients - we had an hour to discuss legal and business matters with senior counsel at a large private company.
Skills
- The Business of Law Week helped me develop my relationship-building skills and decision-making - I also learnt a lot about presenting with presence and how to interview clients

It was incredibly insightful as I did not know a lot about commercial solicitor's roles beforehand.

Incredibly friendly and honest. CMS is renowned for its incredible culture and loyal team.
Your Impressions
It has been incredible to be part of the insight. I have met some very intelligent and friendly people, despite the fact that the first week was online. It's a great preparation for the in-person CMS Academy
Yes
Be yourself. Be approachable. Don't try and compete or put other candidates down as the internship is much more about collaboration and team effort.
