    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • During the business of law week, I had the pleasure of hearing from partners and associates at CMS. I was able to learn about the firm's geographic breadth, the type of work the firm completes and its clients. We also completed group-related tasks as well as having the chance to hear from a CMS client.

    • I have learn the importance of being able to adapt to change quickly throughout the week, especially during the group-related tasks. This has in turn developed my confidence and helped to become more prepared for the two weeks at the office.

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

    • The insight provided has opened my eyes to the outstanding level of training, support and work provided to a trainee solicitor at CMS. I am excited by the prospect of training at the firm because of the early growth and trust that I know I will be exposed to from the very start of my career.

    • Ask as many questions as you can - the lawyers and other employees are incredibly friendly and willing to answer any questions.
