Overview
On the business of law week, we had a variety of exercises and sessions. We had presentation skills sessions, we met with clients, we did a business simulation in groups, we had a charity presentation and idea session, and then we also had an innovation day where we worked in teams to come up with an innovative idea on how CMS can be more sustainable and presented this to partners. Remote working the whole week.
Skills
Presentation skills were developed throughout. We had a presenting with presence session with an external consultant, and then we had to present to a partner on our own for the charity task and then in teams for the innovation exercise.
Business Insight
This is quite a fixed route from the vacation scheme placement to a training contract, we had a lot of insight into the business and then the training contract information was more vague.
Culture
Really open, welcoming and considerate.

Really enjoyable, sometimes slightly draining being on teams all day but very insightful and engaging for a remote placement.
