We attended daily presentations and lecture-type webinars that gave us insights about the Analytics and Sales, Global Data, and other Bloomberg departments as well as panels hosting Bloomberg employees to give us a taste of the workplace, workflows, team placements, horizons etc. We also had daily workshops about several skills like public speaking, gaining confidence etc. The end of the program was closed by a series of exercises and a final presentation of each team's assigned project.
Indeed, the public speaking workshop and especially the Bloomberg Terminal webinars were extremely insightful and taught me a lot about customer service and communication. Collaborating my team, contributing in delegating tasks and using the terminal thoroughly also helped me hone my technical and soft skills as much.
Bloomberg's workplace exceeded my expectations in terms of organization, employer well being, time management and communication. It was a real pleasure not only learning from the Team Leaders but from my peers alike!
Very inclusive, welcoming, intense but acknowledging of employees' wellbeing and happiness. All the people we heard from seemed fulfilled on all levels: aspirations, compensation, role growth, team synergies etc.
Extremely. I especially loved the interactive parts where we had the chance to contribute, be in the role's shoes, and compete. It would be amazing to integrate them more and possibly tell the insight cohort about the project a bit earlier to give them more time to prepare!
