Overview
The day was 9am to 5pm and at the beginning involved talks about the divisions and roles within Bloomberg, there was time for questions after every talk, then we had project time to complete a presentation in our groups and a few assessed exercises on the terminal
Skills
I believe this week reinforced my time management and multi-tasking skills
Business Insight
The talks were very informative because employees from different roles and divisions explained what it was like to work there and you could ask them questions afterwards
Culture
It was very focused around innovation and teamwork. All of the speakers were very happy to answer messages they received following their talks and to give advice
Your Impressions
I enjoyed learning about the culture and completing the exercises and I feel as though I learnt a lot
Yes
I would say research the company in general and know about their products and what differentiates them from competitors as this will help in the interview stage and throughout the week during q&a time
