Overview
My role currently involves planning and designing a new welfare for an SCL mining team. This involves organising meetings with various members of the SCS team ranging from community and engagement team to the commercial team. I also have the opportunity to go out on site and set out .
Skills
I have learnt how to use technical instruments and my communication skills have improved.
Responsibilities
Yes definitely so, I was trusted with a large project that, with check ins, was left to me to do.
Support & Guidance
Plenty, if I had a problem there was always people to talk to, additionally if I ever have any questions my team are willing to help.
Culture
We have a great culture, having team socials and I have now joined a running club.

I am thoroughly enjoying my placement the work is fascinating and I am busy, I am also enjoying my holiday.

I was fortunate enough to e a QUEST scholar, so I only had an interview! But be yourself and see if Costain is right for you.
