Overview
Over the online work experience we attended sessions with various lawyers at the firm, discussing their day-to-day experiences. We also heard from members of the firm on diversity and took part in an online business programme. In terms of meetings with our mentors, it differed each time but focused on learning what commercial law firms were like and what specialisms were available.
Skills
I have learnt more about commercial awareness and what it really means. I also learnt that commercial law is much broader than just corporate and banking.
Business Insight
Very interesting, I was completely unaware of the extent of specialisms within commercial law, especially at firms such as CMS.
Culture
Very nice company culture, with an array of diversity initiatives.
