  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Own interview scheduling and tracking process; communicate logistics to both candidates and hiring teams. Manage candidate reimbursement process. Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to improve candidate experience, recruiting process, and efficiency. Contribute and support a variety of Talent Acquisition initiatives to drive best in class approach to hiring.

  • Creating presentation decks and delivering presentations. Working cross functionally around the business. Prioritizing work loads in busy seasons. Working on tools and system projects to improve overall efficiency and process.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I had a manager but didn't always get the 1:1 time needed weekly to catch up. Most of my team were based in another region, so at times a 2 person team could feel like a challenge. The best way to approach it was to be proactive and be hands on. The overall intern group offered a lot of support and it was a great opportunity to network and make friends.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company culture is great, there is a big sense of team work. Everyone has a very humble and hardworking attitude and there are some incredible people to learn from. It's hard to comment on the social side as we were WFH throughout this period. But the OC team made a conscious effort to put on as many virtual events as possible which was really appreciated.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • This internship really helped me get my foot through the door and gave me a great opportunity to network. It allowed me to discover much more on the product side of the business and helped me realise what I would like to do long term. So in that sense it was very helpful.

  • To go for it! We area young business and are discovering things every day. We are growing so fast and there are so many exciting things happening, its a great place to be apart of.
