Overview
I regularly attended interative sessions with people from different departments who spoke about their work and their history with the firm. I undertook my own assessments which involved researching and presenting information.
Skills
I learnt how to manage my time effectively to ensure all of my work was completed to a high standard but that I also had time to attend social events.
Business Insight
It was extremely beneficial, and made me excited about the prospect of working for an international company with such a vibrant and strong history.
Culture
Unexpectedly kind and open. The general atmosphere struck me as a happy place to work. Company culture emphasised how important it is to be able to be yourself at work.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight. I feel like I gained a true understanding of what it would be like to be a trainee at the firm.
Yes
It is a magic circle firm and so of course hard work is a given, yet there really is an emphasis on looking after its people. Get really stuck in and take every opportunity thrown at you.
