  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • For the virtual internship, we attended talks from members of the firm around the UK, Ireland and the UAE. We also took part in a group project exercise, where we had to make a pitch on behalf of DLA Piper to prospective clients.

    • It was very welcoming throughout, and every person I interacted with from all levels of the firm was incredibly kind and understanding.

    • Really research the firm's culture and values. There is so much emphasis placed on this. As well, having a wide commercial awareness is vital, as the firm operates on such a global scale.
