Overview
Virtual summer internship where we heard talks from a wide range of people working at DLA Piper.
Skills
I have learnt about how to work effectively as part of a team and grown my confidence in communicating with senior partners.

Absolutely fascinating!
Culture
Absolutely everyone was kind and welcoming and I particularly enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere at the start of every session with the fun music. The values were presented consistently throughout and you can really tell how inclusive and welcoming everyone in the firm is.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed this internship and was extremely grateful to have the opportunity to access it despite it being virtual for the second year running. It all helped solidify my desire to work at the firm again in the future.
Yes
Be yourself! DLA Piper emphasised that they want applicants to be themselves and not try to force a different persona. Obviously be punctual and professional, but make sure you are engaged and enthusiastic too.
