    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My role changed on a daily basis depending on whether I was working in an Agile Sprint or not. When in a Sprint I spent my day calling and emailing candidates and assessors. Organising and preparing for the Assessment Centre's or running the assessment day. When I was not in a sprint I spent time learning or involved in giveback projects, an important part to company culture.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • New skills- learnt to code in 3 languages and details on technical concepts. Developed- lots of soft skills. Specifically, organisation, communication, adaptability, resilience in far more depth than in any of my other jobs, education or extra curricular.

  • Yes, I had complete control over my role responsibilities and could run the preparation as I chose with my manager.

  • I received an abundance of support from mentors to buddies to my team and managers.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Even though I was virtual for the entire year due to Covid I believe the company culture to be innovative, busy and ever-changing. The general atmosphere was kind with people constantly checking in on me even whilst being virtual.
