    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • Lots. IBM has a perfect setup for taking university placement students. You're assigned to a foundation manager who is always available to help answer and questions about settling into IBM or technical things you may not be able to ask your day to day manager. This means there is always someone on-hand to offer support if you need it.

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I loved my time at IBM. Whilst I was completely virtual for all 12 months due to covid-19 pandemic, I don't feel like this held me back in getting the most of my time there. IBM have a smooth internship program and this really showed in pivoting to a fully virtual onboarding process.
