    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • Working in a supporting role with Global Business Services UKI Finance Team, helping to consolidate a magnitude of figures whilst also performing useful analysis of these results. Preparing a variety of decks using multiple charts created either by yourself or from Revenue and Spend teams in UK, India and Slovakia for weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews with UKI GBS CFO, UKI GBS General Manager & to Europe GM and other members of IoT. Approving all Temporary Assignment Plan Requests, calculating monthly forecasts of the Odd Days Accrual and performing manual bookings to the ledger. Adhoc tasks for internal team and UKI GBS CFO

    • Try to understand what IBM actually does before applying. It's a huge company providing a variety of different services - Knowledge of these, I think, will put you in a good position when it comes to impressing the interviewers.
