Role Description

The Black Futures Programme will share insight into the work we do and the type of career you can expect with us. Critically, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in a real assessment centre; developing essential case study and interview experience. You’ll receive detailed feedback following the programme to help you, evaluate your performance and prepare for future assessments.

    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • Listening to a panel of black women talking about their experiences whilst working in the FCA and within the financial services industry. Different talks about interviews, CVs and cover letters. Able to attend an assessment centre as well and was given feedback on our performance

    Business Insight

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
  • It was very insightful and useful being able to hear from people that already work at the FCA and what their journey has been like so far. I know have a better understanding of the FCA's purpose as a regulator and their values also.
