Role Description

Varies massively depending on project. I did system testing on the first project, and data management and presentation on the second.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • HR had no idea what was going on, constantly losing emails, asking the same questions multiple times etc

    1/5

  • Either expected to work 12+ hours a day, or completely bored with nothing to do

  • Busy and stressed in both places I worked, but still a good sense of community

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • HR side very badly managed with communication levels appalling. Does not feel like being on an internship, feels like a normal job - i see that as a plus

    1/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Opportunities were presented, but I did not take them as busy with other commitments so hard to comment

    3/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Subsidised/Company Gym

    National Travel

    Financial Bonus

    Company Parties/Events

    Working from home

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • The company is a good place to work if you know or think you would enjoy consultancy, the internship scheme has been disappointing and not a good representation of the rest of the company

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • People on projects in London see more of each other, but very little for those of use based out of London

  • Always out of town so on expenses, zero cost of living

  • Don't know

    3/5
