    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the virtual experience and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • We undertook a variety of sessions including information presentations, Q&As, group tasks and individual reflections. This allowed us to further understand the Teach First program and its mission, learn about further opportunity and what they are looking for as well as develop personal skills in relation to their main competencies. There was also an opportunity to deliver are own mini lesson and receive valuable feedback.

  • Research the company and ensure you empathise with and understand their mission and values. Even if you are not 100% set on teaching it is a really great opportunity to develop other skills as well and gives insight into a possible avenue to explore when you graduate. Be yourself when answering the questions/making your video and let your own voice and passion shine through.
