Overview
We had a lot of online talks, explaining to us what Teach First was, what their values are and how to apply to this company. A large focus was on self-evaluation, and self values. We focused on teamwork (group activities) as well as individual tasks (prepping and giving a lesson). We also had a lot of networking.
Skills
I learnt how to self-evaluate. We had to preform a lesson, and at the end we evaluated how well we thought the lesson was. As we also had feedback from the invigilators, it was very insightful to look back in hindsight. I learnt to evaluate what I thought went well, instead of simply criticising.
