Overview
The first day included a debate session, an ambassador panel, a teach first mission session, as well as time to plan a lesson and frequent breaks. The second one had a problem-solving workshop and also a teaching episode.
Skills
There was focus on developing the Teach First competencies. I found that I particularly developed my problem-solving, interaction, planning and organising and self-evaluation skills.
Business Insight
It was interesting to understand Teach First's mission and the opportunities they have available. After hearing from ambassadors and Teach First employees, it made me even more eager to apply for their training programme.
Culture
The atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. There were frequent opportunities to meet other participants, and everyone was kind and respectful.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the experience so much. I was nervous about participating, but within 30 minutes I was completely relaxed and comfortable. It's an environment to grow and develop, you can express your opinions and nothing is wrong. Everyone was learning from one another. I would 100% definitely recommend.
