Overview
On the first day we got to know the competencies that Teach First stands by and self-reflect by acknowledging which of these competencies we believed we already had. Then we participated in a debate relating to education. Next we gained an understanding of what made a great teacher is and planned our own mini lesson to teach to our peers. The next day we taught that mini lesson to our peers; received feedback and gave ourselves self-reflections. We lastly reflected on our personal development over the two days.
Skills
I think i have developed in confidence. One of my peers said i came across very calm when giving my mini lesson and i tried to make conversation in every break out room i was put in.
