  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • At the beginning of the day placement was interesting. It was very stimulating and learning a lot of things in sort period of time. However when COVID hit things change a bit.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • I was very lucky to have an amazing team. My branch manager very helpful and gave me good feedback. Coworker were amazing and supportive. In other branches changed a bit. Never going to get a good team.

    • As I said before manager and assistant manager we’re quite helpful and very consistent in giving me feedback and making sure I get everything done well.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • Enterprise is always busy, I did not know what was multitasking until my placement. Many things going on at the same time.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • First two weeks not many responsibilities only follow my colleagues and learn. After two weeks I had many chores I had to get done.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I learned and develop few skills. Such as sales, communications, customer service, problem solving. This will help me after I graduate. I will be more employable and confident.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • At the first two branches the atmosphere was very good and maybe thanks to the team. The managers are very important to change the atmosphere. Other branches the atmosphere were quite poorly. The days we had training at the head office it was fantastic. Everyone amazingly nice to us.

    • It was a bit unorganised because it was difficult with multitasking and it was very busy.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Three trainings at the beginning of my placement. Driving training. Free lunch with manager and area manager which I did not get but is part of the new management trainees program. Every week I had a review with my manager about my growth.

    • The prospects are very high working hard in the organisation. The growth is very fast if the numbers abs people support you.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • I spoke with other placement students and they were happy

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • I moved to Bournemouth town were I knew people. The cost of living were average, and not transport cost I was living next to my branch.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • Nightlife in Bournemouth is very good and enjoyable. With COVID I couldn’t enjoy that much.
