    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • At the time it was a stressful job, looking back on the year it had shown me numerous life and industry skills that i am sure will prove essential when i come to work in my chosen industry

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • it was a very target driven market, however in order to obtain high sales figures the whole department had to work as a team.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • each individual was very focussed on getting as much sales as possible, any time spent teaching the new employees was time wasted not making money.

  • very busy, people will allways need new jobs

  • as much as anyone else, i was doing the same job as a director, sales, sales, sales

  • they will be with me for life, the skills learnt on placement are crutial in later life

  • allways fun

  • very well set up- the universitys have a lot of experience in placments

  • if your company wants you to suceed they will allways invest in your traning

  • the credit crunch has hit financial recruitment quite hard, prospects are not great

  • there were very few placement students at hays

  • London is expensive

  • not good - the financial district is not known for its night life
