I really enjoyed my placement year at Hays, I was given a a lot of responsibility and felt like I was part of the team straight away. The workload was quite high but this meant there was never a boring moment and I felt very involved. Except they did make me redundant during coronavirus instead of putting the interns on furlough...which wasn't great.
This year started off as a great challenge for me, I did not think I would have enjoyed it as much as I did. As soon as I was able to get my head around the process of recruitment and the technicalities of my desk, I was then able to improve and achieve great things. Also the constant training, recognition for hard and the regular work incentives for hitting targets motivated me to do better.
I enjoyed my work placement as it gave me the opportunity to develop my soft skills, whilst also gaining valuable experience with the training given being second to none. Interacting with different stakeholders daily ensured I was kept on my feet but also gave me the opportunity be independent and learn a lot about myself as an individual working in the corporate world.
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement year at Hays. Working at Hays has allowed me to gain experiences and develop skills that will hep me to excel at university and in my future career. I developed excellent working relationships which made work even more enjoyable.
Since joining Hays in June 2018, I have really enjoyed my internship. I have had a varied and challenging role with lots of responsibility, continued support from colleagues and opportunities for development. Throughout the year, I have attended networking events, taken on new opportunities and attended various social events, including an intern conference, the Hays East of England Christmas party and various office social events. No day is the same and you are thrown straight in to the role facing both challenging and rewarding scenarios.
really good colleagues and managers are quite chilled. the work can be a bit repetitive but environment is always interesting! Quite long hours each week and salary could be higher but overall very good work experience - I feel much better prepared for once I've finished university now.
Thoroughly enjoyed my year long internship at Hays, an amazing company to work for with all like-minded individuals, who ensure that you are fully integrated within the business performing a key role within your specialism. The company invest heavily into your training to ensure that you can fully perform your role, with on the job training and two separate weeks of thorough training in head offices.
My placement year was very enjoyable. I was given lots of responsibility from day one and made to feel very welcome. On my placement year, I did not feel like an intern, more like a normal employee. The team around me made every day enjoyable, even when things were difficult.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement year with Hays recruitment, I was given the opportunity to grow and develop my skills, working in a fast paced sales environment. I was treated as a consultant rather then an intern, providing a true insight into the business world transferring skills I had picked up during my university degree.
Overall I enjoyed the placement. The people were great and I felt valued as an employee. I also had a decent amount of autonomy and responsibility which I enjoyed. The area I specialised in (Compliance) was something I did not find interesting however, which reduced my overall enjoyment.
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement year at Hays working in the Marketing department in central London. I was given many projects with lots of responsibility and was able to take on tasks as my own. Overall the experience gave me a greater knowledge and passion for digital marketing, whilst also helping me to understand marketing and the workplace.
